Mure, in Shikoku, is where Isamu Noguchi spent his later years.
Here, he lived in harmony with nature, studying the essence of living things through stone and exploring the beauty of Japan’s four seasons in his work.

“I create sculpture so that humanity may live in harmony.”
“I hope my studio will be preserved as it is, so that the traces of my studies may be of use.”

True to his words, his studio in Mure has been
preserved as a museum,
serving as a gift to the future.
